About Us
Damaris began her career in 2013 by remodeling her grandfather's home, a project that eventually grew into adding rental properties to her portfolio. She learned much of her trade through hands-on experience as a property manager. Damaris pursued formal education at Arapahoe Community College, earning an Associate’s Degree in Business with an emphasis on Accounting in 2017. She later attended Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. During her studies, she discovered her passion for construction and decided to launch K&D Development.
Kurtis graduated from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Construction Management. Growing up with a father who was a General Contractor in Colorado, Kurtis naturally gravitated toward the construction industry. After college, he gained extensive experience managing over 3,500 new-build residential construction homes while working with P.C.S.I., McStain Homes, and Remington Builders.
Kurtis later shifted his focus to custom remodels, handyman work, and eventually full home builds and additions. His career has led him to specialize in residential construction and remodeling, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to bring clients’ visions to life.
