that great leaders are born with all the stuff they need within them. 04:48.647 --> 04:52.348 [SPEAKER_00]: Time will just reveal the qualities they were born with. 04:53.338 --> 04:59.561 Baptist, and that last messenger who comes like a refiner's fire is Jesus. 06:17.880 --> 06:27.983 [SPEAKER_00]: And Melakos, whole purpose in writing this book, was a stern review against Israel, because as a nation, they had been disloyal to God. 06:28.883 --> 06:34.266 [SPEAKER_00]: But as he rebukes the nation, he focuses in on the priesthood. 06:35.546 --> 06:45.732 [SPEAKER_00]: Because Malikah understands that the priests were created as a select group called by God to keep the relationship between God and Israel in good standing. 06:46.672 --> 06:55.557 [SPEAKER_00]: And that this What I mean is the high and holy calling of manhood is that you represent those who are under your influence and your life, your reality, your standing before God has a net effect among those or upon truth is, we cannot make ourselves fit, gentlemen, it requires that we trust God for God's process. 08:27.739 --> 08:33.922 [SPEAKER_00]: There are two questions I want to ask today of Malachi and I [SPEAKER_00]: Standing back to back shoulder to shoulder which are cousins to see who's outgrowing whom. 09:08.487 --> 09:20.351 [SPEAKER_00]: Even now, if I go to the T-box with some of the great men in his church, like Deacon Sam McLeanett, and we tee off on the golf course, he is old enough to be my father, and I'm not going to tell you how old he is, but I'm almost 40. 09:22.452 --> 09:30.375 [SPEAKER_00]: He's old enough to be my father, and we get to the T-box, I grab a drive, I smoke it, pure straight down the fairway. 09:30.835 --> 09:35.577 [SPEAKER_00]: He'll come back behind me with verse 7 through 14 with these Levites who fall in short of excellent worship. 11:02.458 --> 11:14.748 [SPEAKER_00]: The job of the Levites was to make sure that the altar of the Lord remained clean and that only the best and the first were offered to God that was offered in worship matched the holiness of the name that was being worshiped. 11:15.611 --> 11:23.494 [SPEAKER_00]: The issue was, is that they had healthy animals, good animals, but they chose to keep them for themselves and give God the weak and the sickly animals. 11:23.734 --> 11:34.919 [SPEAKER_00]: And God is merciful and He allowed it to go on for a few generations, but after a while the Lord got tired, sent a prophet named Malachi to call them out on half-hearted worship. 11:36.620 --> 11:42.882 [SPEAKER_00]: The through Malica is that when a man deals treacherously with his wife, he becomes a spy against her goods, and instead of adding value to her life, he pillages her for all the good, instead of returning
