setting the tone and setting up the rest of the story, and it hits me, having just read through the Hobbit and then now through this on a very, very close level, how different the two stories are him, it means always being chased, never having a home again, not just leaving the Shire of two live somewhere else, like Bilbo deciding to go live with the elves until the end of his days. 08:23.463 --> 08:36.993 [SPEAKER_00]: This means always being on the run, and he assumes that means he must be alone as well, because who would want to be in that situation with him, who would be willing to
