the people of God. 09:25.907 --> 09:35.742 [SPEAKER_02]: And these changes are things that we must understand today because Joshua's six is a lot of like what we experience in our lives today. And one of the things that we see that is taking place leading up into this point is the change of guard from Moses to Joshua. 09:54.115 --> 09:56.059 [SPEAKER_02]: In other words, there's a change of 10:03.276 --> 10:04.258 [SPEAKER_02]: He's been the main guy. 10:04.278 --> 10:05.119 [SPEAKER_02]: He's been the leader. 10:05.160 --> 10:07.605 [SPEAKER_02]: And now he's no longer with them. 10:07.625 --> 10:16.343 [SPEAKER_02]: He has gone and Joshua has been raised up and has been called to take over and to take the people into the Promised Land. 10:17.453 --> 10:29.330 [SPEAKER_02]: And what we see in this change of leadership that's taking place from Moses to Joshua is that we find when you look into the story we find that Moses was very administrative. 10:30.512 --> 10:34.718 [SPEAKER_02]: He was an administrative type of leader like he knew what was going on. 10:34.798 --> 10:38.163 [SPEAKER_02]: God would speak to him and he would communicate to the people. 10:38.564 --> over to Joshua. 10:46.702 --> 10:48.827 [SPEAKER_02]: And Joshua was actually nothing like Moses. 10:50.030 --> 10:53.218 [SPEAKER_02]: Joshua was completely different, not that he's better, not that Versus Joshua, who is a warrior who says, okay, God spoke this to me, let's go fight, right? 11:14.424 --> 11:17.852 [SPEAKER_02]: So he's completely different in their leadership style. 11:17.832 --> 11:32.953 [SPEAKER_02]: And we've been talking about preparation and this season of preparation that we're in and listen, church, if we don't allow him to take us through this process of preparation, you will never be prepared for the next thing that he has taken you to in your life. 11:34.355 --> 11:45.831 [SPEAKER_02]: And Joshua has been following Moses and following Moses leadership as they have been preparing for 40 years to get out of the wilderness and into the Promised Land. 11:47.600 --> 11:50.162 [SPEAKER_02]: And Joshua has put into this position of authority. 11:50.963 --> [SPEAKER_02]: And so this transition is very unique and it truly shows an example and a demonstration of God raising up somebody to lead the next generation and to carry out the purpose and the [SPEAKER_02]: Young, warrior, conquering type leader to be raised up in that hour to take them into the Promised Land because while the Promised Land sounded wonderful and while it was a place of all of these amazing things, remember I told you last week, the land was still full of giants. 13:45.556 --> 13:53.627 [SPEAKER_02]: So the people of God needed a warrior, needed a new leader that can
