encouraging even in the midst of dark times, we see the Lord rise up. 09:52.259 --> 09:58.915 [SPEAKER_01]: And he begins to do a work in Israel to bring the people back to God, back to his heart, and reminder that you need from him, and he will use trouble, he will stir things up to get you to refocus and reshift your attention back on him. 10:39.781 --> 10:44.389 [SPEAKER_01]: And sadly some the world around you and in your families and in your friends circles and all that to bring you to your knees and Take you into a place of intercession There's enough that's happening. 11:17.831 --> 11:27.420 [SPEAKER_01]: Believe me that kid that can get you to pray Because the world that we live in is filled with trouble, but oftentimes the Lord will use trouble to get our attention 11:28.480 --> 11:55.416 [SPEAKER_01]: what we saw happen such as, let's just say, the last election or the assault of Jewish people from, from Hamas or, you know, the assassination attempts and the successful assassinations and the Antifa riots and the burning down abilities, the attacks against ice agents, all of these things, all of these troubling things I believe has gotten people's attention. were much like the Israelites and second kings, chapter 6, where they didn't even realize how far out they got, but it took the prophet to rise up and speak. 12:23.240 --> 12:39.261 [SPEAKER_01]: to get the attention of the people, and I believe that the Lord has used the things that we have seen in recent days, to get a hold of the people of God, and to allow us to rise up and take our stand and to find our voice again, Amen. 12:39.301 --> 12:42.285 [SPEAKER_01]: And we are seeing that happen before our eyes. 12:43.366 --> 12:50.175 [SPEAKER_01]: And so in 2 Kings 6 we're told that the Syrian two things that I want to give to you as we die further into this story, but there's two truths that you need to understand before you see a change tomorrow. 13:09.745 --> 13:15.293 [SPEAKER_01]: The first one is this, it doesn't sound very promising and doesn't sound very nice at all, but it's the truth. 13:15.394 --> 13:18.458 [SPEAKER_01]: And number one is that there is an attack from the 13:30.729 [SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm not here this morning to talk about the devil. 13:31.650 --> 13:36.215 [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not here to give him any kind of glory at all because we know that he doesn't appropriate and important for us to do as believers is identify the schemes of the enemy. 14:20.251 --> 14:34.612 [SPEAKER_01]: according to 2 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 11, that there are schemes of the enemy, and as people of God, we should have the sermon and we should recognize what the enemy is trying to do. 14:34.652 --> 14:39.259 [SPEAKER_01]: As the scripture says, we can't be ignorant of recognize what he's trying to do, and what he's trying to accomplish. 14:57.305 --> 15:04.053 [SPEAKER_01]: Satan has a strategic way against the way that he works against your life, and it works was used by the enemy to come against the people of God, I think it would help us to understand what we're dealing with in our lives in the world around us today. 15:27.726 --> 15:35.233 [SPEAKER_01]: Scripture says that Syria besieged Samaria, besieged Samaria. 15:36.074 --> 15:45.642 [SPEAKER_01]: This is interesting because if you study what exactly what that means, you'll discover that a besiege 15:46.550 --> 15:56.929 [SPEAKER_01]: It's not a violent action, but it's actually means this to surround a place with armed forces in order to capture it or force it's surrender. 15:58.371 --> 16:05.925 [SPEAKER_01]: And so Syria comes in besieges, or Syria comes in besieges, to give me some area. 16:06.361 --> 16:09.744 [SPEAKER_01]: And we see that this besieging is taking place. sudden, raid the city. 16:16.210 --> 16:20.575 [SPEAKER_01]: This is actually a long form type of warfare. 16:21.816 --> 16:24.779 [SPEAKER_01]: It's something that takes some time to accomplish. They could no longer trade in that day with neighboring cities, neighboring countries, because nothing could go out. 16:58.371 --> 17:05.562 [SPEAKER_01]: And nothing could come in. 17:09.018 --> it to where they can no longer sustain life on their own. 17:25.358 --> 17:38.434 [SPEAKER_01]: So the Bible says that Syria for years besieged Samaria until they no longer had anything left to survive. 17:40.000 --> 17:43.003 [SPEAKER_01]: They got so desperate that they began to eat donkey heads. 17:45.605 --> 17:55.575 [SPEAKER_01]: They would eat animals, but they got so desperate that there was nothing left that and it would cost so much money we see. 17:56.316 --> 18:05.805 [SPEAKER_01]: So many shackles of silver just for a chance and opportunity to eat the head of a donkey. literally forcing themselves in and coming to a place in their own minds where they think that it's okay to settle for anything less than what's normal. 18:57.459 --> 18:59.822 [SPEAKER_01]: And they begin to eat wild things. 19:00.865 --> 19:25.634 [SPEAKER_01]: And we see in the story that the King happens to be walking alongside the wall when he realizes that this woman is in complete despair and cries out to him and says, hey, like I literally just got tricked by this other woman, we were so hungry and we're so crazy from what's happening right now, that I literally gave up my son, boiled
