Her love
Always

Gravity of light breaking gravity of dark
Morning not possible nor anything desirable not kissed by it
As I have been 
Will be again
As if the sorrows of history were not worth retelling
Nor their gravity  operative
Nor Auschwitz’s shadow cast in accusation against joy
And memory cleansed to the bone

I smile in reply to her inviting smile
It is possible that one day love and history will speak the same language

I charge myself to write the first page of that approaching history
So that she…..
