This robin was injured when he hit my friend's front window. We thought he was as good as dead. I took him home, and then to school (in an empty aquarium). We had a bird's eye view as he ate and drank and chirped for us. The children were so excited. Fortunately, he was OK. Within 24 hours I let him go. We learned a great deal about robins. We called the robin "Sir Vivor."
Saskatoon
has been overrun with robins that cannot go north because of the
snow. The temperatures
have been very cold and we also had snow all last week. Everyone
has
had hundreds of robins in their yards. They were everywhere!
