This text is used to describe each model folder. In each model folder there maybe several sub-folders: "v1"/"release": v1 or release folder contains the main official firmware for that model. "testing": testing folder contains a release candidate firmware, it is pre-release stage. It will update regularly when some new features added or security bug fixed. The next release firmware will derive from it. "clean": clean folder contains a clean firmware with minimal packages, with LuCI installed, wifi is disabled by default. It is the same as OpenWRT official firmware, which doesn't include any GL.iNet packages. "tor": tor folder contains a tor firmware for that model. We don't maintain Tor firmware any more. If someone wants to use Tor VPN, please refer to the guide. https://docs.gl-inet.com/en/3/app/tor/ "nand": Only AR300M series contains this folder. It might contains above folder for NAND. "snapshots": snapshots folder contains the latest developing firmware, it usually have some bugs. ###################################### AR300M has two flashes, Nor and Nand. So there are two firmwares, one for Nor and one for Nand. Nand firmware is in "nand" folder. Normally what you use is in this folder. All other folders is for Nor firmware. For example, "v1" is our stock firmware for Nor flash and "tor" is the tor firmware for Nor flash. Note: Old nand firmware may not work on the newest AR300M because we used a different nand chip which is not supported in firmware v2.25 (and clean firmware v1.0) and older.
