Dr. Ketan Patel
BDS (Wales) LDSRCS (Eng) 1989, GDC No:65116
Dr. Ketan Patel graduated in 1989 from the University of Wales, Cardiff. He gained his licentiate in General Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons, England, before embarking in General Practice.
After buying Cornerhouse in 1991 along with his wife, Dr. Neeta Patel, he also worked in Harley Street and ran their other practice in Perivale, Middlesex. He worked for a time in Guy’s Dental Hospital in the sedation unit and gained valuable experience in dealing with nervous and phobic patients.
He believes in a holistic approach to dental health and treats each patient as an individual. He is trained to place Dental Implants and enjoys cosmetic dentistry and also takes a keen interest in oral surgery too.
Ketan is a member of the British Dental Association and a member of ITI (International Team for Implantology) and keeps up to date attending regular post-graduate seminars. He is a keen golfer and enjoys keeping fit and travelling.

Dr Neeta Patel graduated in 1989 from the University of Wales, Cardiff. She gained her licentiate in General Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons, England. She is a member of the British Dental Association and has an interest in tooth whitening and cosmetic dentistry but also enjoys treating children and nervous patients.
She has worked in General Practice since qualifying and has also managed Cornerhouse Dental Care since 1991 when the practice was established. She keeps up to date attending seminars so that the practice can be progressive and have the latest technology. More recently, her interest in minimal cosmetic treatment is now helping many patients to achieve the smile they desire with minimal tooth loss.
Neeta visited Tanzania in 2004 as the first volunteer for the charity Bridge2Aid and provided emergency dental care to many people during her stay. She climbed Kilimanjaro in 2007,again for Bridge2Aid, and raised £5000 for the charity. She also trekked to Everest Base Camp in October 2019 and the next challenge is to visit Peru and trek to Machu Picchu. She enjoys baking and keeping fit and enjoys Swimming, Spinning, Weights and Hiking, and now that her children are grown up she would like to get involved in more dental- related volunteering projects.

Dr. Karan Patel graduated with honours in 2011. During his time at university he won notable awards in Human Physiology and Biochemistry. He values exceptionally high standards of work and shows passion during patient treatment. He is very good with nervous patients and this has been reflected by many compliments on his chair-side manner.
During his first few years after graduation, Karan went on to study for his Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons. Karan has a passion for Implant Dentistry and has completed a three-year postgraduate Masters qualification in January 2020 from the University of Bristol in Implantology and is currently carrying out a research project there too.
He is fully trained to place dental implants and provides a high level of service with attention to detail in the placement of implants using the latest in digital treatment planning software. Karan is a member of the International Team for Implantology based in Switzerland and is always up to date in the latest trends in Implant Dentistry.
Karan also has a keen interest in minimally invasive dentistry providing patients with Smile Makeovers using composite bonding techniques. He works closely with clear brace providers in helping improve the aesthetic outcomes of his cases, thus patients require less need for invasive cosmetic dentistry as the teeth are already straighter.
His aim for treating patients is to personalise their care to meet the exacting needs of each individual person and so provide excellent patient care.
We are pleased that he has been able to join us in our family practice here at Cornerhouse Dental Care. In his spare time, Karan is a keen swimmer and also a film buff.
