Export form•Z animations to a standard movie file

• Select Generate Animation from Display pull-down menu.
• Choose Display Type: Wireframe, Shaded Full, Hidden Line, RenderZone, etc.
• Choose Store Frames In: Animation File.
• Choose Format: formZ Animation, QuickTime (Mac), or AVI (Win).
• Choose Location to save movie file, (click New File button to change default).
• Click Generate Animation button.
• A preview dialog displays the progress of your rendering. When finished select File / View File to view your movie inside formZ.
• Optional: If you choose to generate a form•Z Animation .FAN file, (instead of a QT or AVI file), you can perform some additional steps. The .FAN file is a lossless format that allows you to re-render any sequence of frames in your existing animation. However the .FAN file can only be played inside formZ. To convert the .FAN file to a standard QT (Mac) or AVI (Win) movie you need to perform the following:
• Select File / Export Animation.
• In the Load Animation dialog select your .FAN file then click Open button.
• Leave Frame Export Options at defaults and click OK button.
• Enter a filename, select your File Format: QT (Mac) or AVI (Win) then click Save button.
