My absolute favourite chippy. Their chips are cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside with a soft centre. Their not greasy at all. Their curry sauce is delicious. Staff are friendly too. Looking forward to being allowed to dine in again soon so I can Lovely chips, crunchy on the outside and soft inside!

Even better customer service and a future return very likely! After reading the good reviews I tried this place whilst staying at the nearby Premier Inn. Nic and clean place and staff were friendly and following covid guidelines. Sadly the food was disappointing, lukewarm sausage and chips that were over cooked and scrappy.

Maybe caught We phone and pre order great during covid and it's usually ready in about 10 minutes. Top quality and good choices. We've had several takeaways from The Fishing Boat and every time the staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. Always good portion sizes so great value for money.

I went here last month for the first time on the recommendation of a close friend who was adamant that they were the best chip shop around, I was skeptical but went out of curiosity. I was NOT disappointed! I have been here several times Batter and chips are always nice and crispy, and never too oily.

The best fish and chips I have ever had!!! Light crispy batter , crunchy ships and not oily. Will be back. Fish was dry and batter was very hard and oily. Cod bites was just a piece of dry oily butter with hardly any cod inside. Made my first order with these guys and was so looking forward to trying these amazing fish and chips for the first time. My son's burger was quite dry as well, however, his batter sausaged was cooked fine.

Perhaps I was just unlucky as they were so busy, but for my first attempt at the fish bar, I have definitely had better and would sadly go somewhere else. This is the best fish and chips.
