We went on the seal island dolphin spotting tour and we saw loads of dolphins. As soon as we set off their was loads of dolphins all around us and my children thought it was wonderful. The sea was very rough the day we went and i thought there is no way that we will be taken out to seal island but we were and it was very very bumpy but absolutely brilliant. I thought my children would be scared as the boat was coming out of the water going over the waves but they thought it was brilliant and were screaming with delight i think in the end they enjoyed the waves more.
I would definitely recommend this trip to Dinghy Outboard Mount Event anyone thrill seekers included if it's a rough day. Hi Denise, amazing to hear the kids still had fun! The boat is very safe and stable in rough conditions - makes it perfect for the South Coast. Please come back in whale season, one of those smooth winter days would be nice!
A 45 minute cruise around granite island stopping at the seal haul out and hanging near a pod of dolphins! This was a very enjoyable time, weather was great which always helps but to stop near a pod of dolphins with a young calf was something else. It's an informative and relaxed cruise and the boat is more than comfortable.
We will be back for a whale cruise once the season comes round. The trip ends with a little bit of speed for fun!
It's a great addition to things to do and see at Victor Harbor. Recommended for any age group. The calves are something special! Very lucky to be part of the local dolphins breeding Jolly Boat Sailing Dinghy 10 cycle :. So worth the money!! Would have a liked a little while longer seeing the seals but then we may have missed the dolphins so was all good in the end!!

I work for an aged care company out in the community, we took a group of our clients on this boat tour. The guys we really great they helped with getting on and off the boat, some of our clients have trouble walking and they were a bit apprehensive but the guys reassured them it will be fine, they were fantastic with those clients.
We went out to seal rock and saw some of the seals and had a great opportunity to take lots of pictures. The 2 guys were very informative of what seals they were and what they feed on, as well as the other bird life there. We then went to the pod of dolphins and that for me was the high light of the trip. They came up so close to the boat i got some great photo's.
Will be going on this again but this time ill take my grandkids they will love it. I will be recommending this to all my family and friends its a must do. Thanks guy for a great trip. Fantastic review LJT, probably my favorite.
Sharing the local waterway with everyone is the main goal of our business. It is great to hear the crew were informative and helpful. Fantastic trip on a big, 3 massive engined, rubber dinghy. The experienced crew took us out to Seal Rock where we got quite close to see lots of Australian Sea Lions and fur seals.
The sea was quite high and 'lumpy' but it just added to the excitement of the trip! Then we sped off to Wright Island where we were treated to a wonderful sight of between 15 - 20 bottlenose dolphins, swimming around the boat, some keeping their heads out of the water for short periods, appearing to be actually looking at us!
Heading back at high speed was exhilarating, then the captain did a very fast Inflatable Dinghy Reviews Nz figure of eight on approach to the causeway, brilliant! We were issued with spray jackets as we embarked - on a previous visit we hadn't been offered them, and indeed they weren't needed then, but this time they were welcomed as rain threatened.
We were personally not sprayed, but the people on the other side of the boat were soaked! So if offered, do take them!! Fabulous 45min ride, ideal for adults and children alike maybe not under 4 year old, but that's my personal opinion. Give it a go!
