My hull had some water trapped in the foam below the bilge, so I had to cut a hole in the glass, let the foam thoroughly dry out, and then re-seal. I put an inspection port there to check for moisture every so often. The transom is made of wood and had an aluminum cap. The wood was totally unfinished under the cap and subject to dry rot.

I caught it in time, filling in the gaps with Systems West epoxy. I replaced the fuel line and added a spin-on fuel filter.. The original electrical was a joke with just a single pair of wires with one fuse. So I rewired it with a main power cable running from the dual batteries to a fuse box in the console. There's an amp fuse near the batteries and individual fuses for lights, bilge, accessory sockets, etc.

The splash well was badly fitted with vinyl trim between the well assembly and the transom. So I removed the vinyl, trimmed uneven points at the joint of the splash well, and fitted it closely to the transom.

I also extended the splash well a couple inches so it would cover the batteries better. There's a battery selector switch and a fuel selector switch that can quickly switch from the gallon main fuel tank to a 6-gallon portable. It's powered with a HP Suzuki 4-stroke. Very good on gas.

About 2 gph trolling. Way less when I'm dragging live bait at low speeds. It's a wet hull in normal trades of 15 kts. Not a smooth ride in chop.
